PERFORMING ARTS ISSUES

Depression...Anxiety...Stage fright...Low self-esteem/image issues...Most performing and creative artists are  particularly sensitive to emotions and self image. Musicians, singers, dancers, visual and other artists all share this common trait. Along with the ability to transform this energy into artistic expression, comes the trade off of being vulnerable to both the stress of creating and then the critique of that expression, the most personal extension of those emotions and self.

Hal Jordan Ketofsky has a unique experience history including many years as professional musician/singer/songwriter and recording artist performing on large and small stages throughout the US .  He provides a strong understanding of the special emotional and practical issues of creative performers.

Counseling can help explore fears and negative patterns of behavior that interfere with the process of creativity. First understanding these patterns, and then learning new ways of addressing the process you can increase the creative energy and decrease stress.
